Originally from Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Keith Harding is a versatile musician and dedicated educator with a musical background spanning in classical, jazz, marching band, pop, hip hop, and musical theatre. A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland’s School of Music (B.Mus. Performance, 2006), Keith has performed with a wide range of ensembles across the country.
His musical roots include performances with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band, and the prestigious Ceremonial Guard Band in Ottawa. Equally comfortable in contemporary genres, Keith has brought his talents to the stage with hip hop collective Hear/Say, pop band Repartee, MUN Percussion ensemble The Scruncheons, and Corner Brook jazz ensemble Jazz West.
A passionate supporter of local theatre and community music, Keith has played in numerous productions with Corner Brook’s Camber Arts, Off-Broadway Players, as well as performing with the Rotary Arts Centre Band.
Since 2008, Keith has been sharing his love of music as an experienced teacher in both St. John’s and Corner Brook, inspiring students of all ages through performance and education.
