Campers will spend two weeks working to bring an hour long musical theatre performance (show to be announced) to life on the Arts & Culture Centre Stage! Throughout the two weeks, students will work on singing, acting, and dancing to bring full characters to shining life on stage through a fully staged musical at the end of the camp.

This camp, connected to Broadway Bound: A Musical Theatre Performance Camp, focuses on our younger performers, providing a fun opportunity to learn through song, dance, and acting, and sharing the stage with our older performers by the end of the week. Campers will spend one week working to bring an hour long musical theatre performance (show to be announced) to life on the Arts & Culture Centre Stage!

Throughout the week, students will work on singing, acting, and dancing to bring full characters to shining life on stage through a fully staged musical at the end of the camp. Our younger performers will take the stage for specific performances during the show with their older peers.

This two-week intensive experience is the perfect opportunity for young artists ready to push themselves to the next level of Musical Theatre Performance. Every student will work on a monologue and solo musical performance throughout the week, learning to make strong character choices and decisions in one-on-one intensive sessions. Along with this individual work, students will be spending time on the dance floor, learning fresh choreography each day, along with a piece that will be presented at the conclusion of the camp. This camp will provide a triple-threat experience in a fast-paced, fun, engaging, and encouraging environment. At the end of the camp, students will take part in a mock audition with their pieces, showcasing their work. Following this, we will work our individual pieces into a devised performance at the Arts and Culture Centre, to be presented to the public on August 10.

A musical theatre triple-threat intensive with focus on solo performance; this camp will equip each student with a wealth of new methods and strategies to maximize their performance and stand out from the crowd, all while creating spectacular bonds and memories for the group of young people!

This two-week experience will provide young artists with a whole new toolbox of skills that can be used in any artistic endeavour and through their lives, all while creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Due to the intensity of this camp experience, registrants will be contacted and required to audition. This will allow our faculty to provide the best experience for each registrant.
