Alison Clarke
Studio Teaching Artist

Alison Clarke, from Burin, Newfoundland, holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a French minor and a Bachelor of Music Degree (Honours) with a major in Piano Performance from Memorial University. Recognized for her accomplishments, Alison was awarded the University Medal for Academic Excellence in Music Education. She currently teaches music and French at Corner Brook Intermediate, where she directs the CBI Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Choir.
Alison has a wealth of experience in musical direction, private piano teaching, and piano accompaniment. In May 2025, she was the musical director and band director for Graham Academy's production of Mean Girls. She was also the musical director and piano conductor for Camber Arts' production of Oliver! in March of 2025 and for the Off-Broadway Players' production of Bright Star in November 2024. She has also musically directed shows including The Music Man (2024), Singin’ In The Rain Jr. (2024), Mary Poppins Jr. (2024), Fame Jr. (2024), American Idiot (2023), Footloose (2023), We Will Rock You (2022) and Tick, Tick…BOOM! (2021). Alison has been teaching private piano lessons and accompanying vocal and instrumental soloists for 13 years. In her free time, Alison enjoys reading, walking, playing the guitar, violin, and banjo, and making music with friends.
