Alison Clarke
Studio Teacher
Alison Clarke, from Burin, Newfoundland, holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a French minor and a Bachelor of Music Degree (Honours) with a major in Piano Performance from Memorial University. Recognized for her accomplishments, Alison was awarded the University Medal for Academic Excellence in Music Education. She currently teaches music and French at Corner Brook Intermediate.
Alison strives to be a well-rounded musician by being involved in the local music community. She has extensive experience in musical direction, private piano teaching, and piano accompaniment. In the spring of 2024, she was the musical director for Graham Academy’s productions Singin’ In The Rain Jr. and Mary Poppins Jr., and CBI’s production of Fame Jr. She was also piano-conductor for the pit band in CBRH’s production of Mamma Mia! and was piano-conductor and musical director for The Music Man with Graham Academy. Other musical directing credits include American Idiot (2023), Footloose (2023), We Will Rock You (2022) and Tick, Tick…BOOM! (2021).
