Emma MacEachern

Originally from Truro, NS Emma moved to Newfoundland in 2017 to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. Under the tutelage of Dr. Caroline Schiller, Emma graduated with honours in 2021. Some favorite roles she has performed are Miss Pinkerton in The Old Maid and the Thief (MUN), Gretel in Hansel and Gretel (MUN), Cheshire Cat in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (MUN) and most recently Scaramouche in We Will Rock You. Emma has represented her home town in the Nova Scotia Provincial Music Festival and won the Junior Musical Theatre Category, Junior Voice Category, and has performed with the Halifax Summer Opera Festival. Emma has taught voice and piano lessons for 4 years and is a passionate teacher comfortable in classical, theater, and folk repertoire. Emma is ecstatic to continue her teaching on the west coast of the province!
