Chelsea Marks

Chelsea Marks is a native of Corner Brook, and has been actively involved in theatre, music, and dance from a young age. Chelsea is lucky to have been taught by some of Corner Brook’s finest music teachers, including Dr. Gary Graham and Ms. Monica Coffin. She was also lucky enough to take dance classes in jazz, ballet, modern, and tap from Ms. Amy Andrews and the wonderful staff at Dance Studio West. While Chelsea enjoys all forms of music and dance, her favourite is musical theatre because it encompasses all of her favourite things! She has worked with numerous theatre companies over the past few years, including Lock and Keynote Productions, Off Broadway Players, Stage West Theatre Festival, and Gros Morne Summer Music. 

Chelsea recently graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland - Grenfell Campus with a Bachelor of Business Administration. When she’s not at Graham Academy, Chelsea can most likely be found at Dance Studio West, where she is the office manager, bookkeeper, and stage manager.

Chelsea has been stage managing for approximately six years and has been mentored by Ms. Karla Biggin. She has learned many things about stage management over the past couple years, but still has a long way to go! Chelsea is very excited to be back with the Graham Academy again this year, and is honoured to be stage managing all their productions for the 2020-2021 musical theatre year!
