Reg Kachanoski is a musician, sound technician, computation artist, and company manager for GMSM. He has composed and performed electroacoustic compositions on a national and international level, toured as a drummer and percussionist for many ensembles and has worked on a large variety of projects as a technician and sound engineer. Reg has worked in broadcast (CBC radio), as a technician for leading-edge research labs in art and music (Matralab, Concordia University), and has been an avid supporter of local music communities and organizations throughout his career.
In his new role as Company Manager for GMSM, he is leading the revival of the arts publication Old Crow Magazine (oldcrowmagazine.org), creating innovative educational opportunities for kids through adventurous forays into the intersection of digital art and gaming (Graham Academy’s Interactive Arts program), and manages performances, recording sessions, and cultural activities at St. Pat’s Church in Woody Point NL. Reg is excited to apply his forward-thinking attitude, passion, and energy to GMSM/Graham Academy, building on the organization's great success in bringing amazing arts programming to Western Newfoundland.
