Elizabeth McNeill

GA Faculty - Music and Choreography (JK-6)

Elizabeth McNeill, from Paradise, NL, developed a passion for classical music and dance at a young age. Her love for the music of Tchaikovsky's ballets helped her to discover the beautiful sound of the oboe. Her fondness for the oboe lead her to achieve a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance furthered by a Bachelor of Music Education from Memorial University.

Throughout her studies, Elizabeth travelled to Saint-Irénée, Quebec to study at Domaine Forget, an International Music Festival and Academy. At Domaine Forget, she had the privilege to participate and perform in masterclasses with world-renowned oboists Alex Klein and Hansjörg Schellenberger.

Since completing her studies, Elizabeth has been teaching music on the East and West Coasts of Newfoundland.  Currently, she teaches music and language arts at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Corner Brook.

She is delighted to be a part of the Graham Academy family and is looking forward to another incredible year of music making!
